Worship and Community

Despite limited clergy resources, our churches are able to offer a wide range of opportunities to worship from the well known Euchristic services and Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer, through Common Worship services of the Word to specially written Family Services. Most of our churches only see our own Rector once a  month with the remainder of the services being covered by retired clergy and trained Worship Leaders. We also have one Reader in the benefice.

The Rector is able to arrange Baptisms, Marraiges and Funerals and the local congregations will be pleased to join in with these celebrations where appropriate. Rev. Windross's contact details can be found on the Contact Us page.

As well as the usual Sunday and mid week services, the clergy take part in civil and ecumenical services such as Carnivals, Fetes, Revels, Carol Services, Harvest Fetivals etc and are a prominent part of the local community.

Here Reverend Tony and Pat Windross lead the Week St Mary Revel Procession in September prior to conducting the Crowning of the Harvest Queen Ceremony.
